ANWIL attends the Agricultural Forum

28-10-2014

The first Agricultural Forum organised by the editors of Gazeta Pomorska was organised on Saturday, 25 October in the Copernicus hotel in Toruń. ANWIL was general sponsor of the event.

The forum was attended by farmers, scientists, representatives of various institutions and businesses supporting agriculture and politicians. The part devoted to the subject matter included a series of discussion panels on crop production and husbandry as well as financing agriculture. It is important to stress the high professional value of the event, which was ensured by the speakers – renowned experts from Warsaw, Bydgoszcz and Olsztyn universities. The part of the Forum devoted to the subject matter ended with a discussion involving the present minister of agriculture and former ministers, which was devoted to the changes that have taken place in the Polish countryside since accession to the European Union.

An important part of the Forum was the Gala, during which awards were presented to the winners of the Our Mayor poll, including the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province Mayor, 2014 Farmer of the Year and Agricultural Entrepreneur – for groups of producers.
ANWIL was general sponsor of the Forum. The company also sponsored the prize for the winner in the Agricultural Entrepreneur category. The prize was awarded to Mr Piotr Doligalski from Kowróz.

The agricultural market nowadays requires extensive knowledge of agriculture. Today, effective use of business skills is as essential as this knowledge. The Forum was an excellent opportunity to exchange views on typically agricultural matters as well as the general agricultural business. That is why ANWIL, a modern company producing top-quality nitrogen fertilizers, decided to honour the best Agricultural Entrepreneur,” said Mr Mirosław Kwiatkowski, Member of the Management Board and Head of Sales at ANWIL, about the Agricultural Forum.
