ANWIL SA is one of the biggest companies in Kujawsko-Pomorskie region and the country’s leading one in the area of Great Chemical Synthesis. This is the only Polish producer of suspension polyvinyl chloride widely renowned and one of the most significant in Central-Eastern Europe. ANWIL SA is also one of the major producers of nitrogenous fertilizers (ammonium nitrate and calcium ammonium nitrate) on a nationwide scale. Among other chemicals we also produce caustic soda and soda lye, as well as PVC compounds, dry-blends and sheets.

The implementation of the EN ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System has had a positive effect on the natural environment. The company is actively involved in a range of international environment protection programmes such as: „Responsible Care” or „Cleaner Production” winning the title of the „Laureate of Cleaner Production” in 1997, as well as the title of the executor of „Responsible Care” programme. The company is also a member of the Federation of European Chlor-Alkali Producers „EuroChlor” and of the European Fertilizer Manufacturers Association EFMA.
One of the key assets of the company are its employees. The human resources policy applied in ANWIL SA ensures appropriate personnel selection, training and motivating schemes, thus, facilitating the process of meeting the Company’s strategic objectives.
All activities by ANWIL SA are undertaken according to guidelines included in the Code of Ethics. The Ethics Committee along with the Ethics Spokesperson are two bodies of supportive and monitoring value for the process of implementing and obeying all ethical standards.

The result of the „licence to operate” policy applied by the Company, whose foundation is grounded in the idea of mutual dependence between business and local societies, is a wide programme of supporting a variety of local initiatives. Those image-enhancing activities include sport, culture, charity, education and healthcare sponsorship. The Company is also proudly involved in schemes promoting the environmental awareness with the young.

ANWIL SA is an active supporter of programmes promoting the environmental awareness with the young. The Company is the organiser of chemical and environmental competitions for the young local community, as well as of the Włocławek edition of the nationwide action named „A Tree for a Bottle”. ANWIL SA is also involved in a variety of charitable initiatives supporting such public benefit institutions like Polish Red Cross, Caritas Polska or TPD (Society of the Friends of Children) and helping those in need. The Company also supports healthcare, health protection and rehabilitation programmes for the disabled. Moreover, we are active players in the field of promoting education and national traditions through offering financial support to such cultural and educational events.
