Today, the construction of a new plant producing highly disperse silica for tire industry was officially initiated at the industrial complex of ANWIL in Wloclawek. The investor which is the world chemical company Solvay plans to complete the investment of EUR 75 million in the third quarter of 2014. Products manufactured in Wloclawek will be designed not only for customers in Poland but also for contractors from Central and Eastern Europe and Russia..
Construction of the state-of-the art facility combined with the infrastructure systems of ANWIL is another significant investment made by the leading industry players over the past few years.Business co-operation with such giants as PKN ORLEN (PTA plant, gas-steam power plant), Indorama (PET), ACP (technical gases) and Solvay (silica) strengthens the position of ANWIL on the map of chemical and petrochemical industry active investment centres in the region.
