ANWIL received a visit from the Committee of Chemical and Process Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). During a two-day stay, the representatives of the valued Polish scientific institution learned about the production technologies used by the company from Włocławek, as well as other aspects of its functioning.
The visit in Włocławek included a presentation of the technology behind the CCGT unit to be finalized by PKN ORLEN, as well as a tour of ANWIL’s production site. The guests visited facilities such as the fertilizers packing department, ammonia control room and PVC production lines. The representatives of ANWIL and PAN also had the opportunity to exchange opinions on the future of Polish chemistry, innovative technologies and operational excellence.
The Committee of Chemical and Process Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences consists of researchers representing various universities, PAN departments and institutes involved in research for the chemical industry. The visit from PAN representatives is a confirmation of the key importance of ANWIL for the development of Polish chemistry.
