ANWIL won the 8th edition of 2014 Top Quality International programme. The Jury of the Programme particularly appreciated the activities of the company undertaken with GK ORLEN related to the implementation and promotion of quality in all aspects of the Company’s activity.
ANWIL received the prize in the category of QI Order – Top Quality Management. The official award ceremony of the Quality International Golden Award took place on 5 September at the company office in Włocławek.
“Effective management systems constitute the basis for efficient functioning of modern organisations and business entities. At ANWIL we regularly improve our key processes, leveraging the in-depth expertise of our specialists, as well as exchanging experience and best practices in the ORLEN Group,” said Arkadiusz Banaszek, Member of the Management Board of ANWIL, while accepting the award.
The patronage over the 2014 Top Quality International Programme was held by the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and Polish ISO 9000 Forum Club. The programme is organised by the editorial staff of Forum Biznesu, a supplement to the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily.
“It is a programme intended for enterprises and institutions operating in Poland with a clear quality policy and working to achieve constant growth in that respect. Having joined the Programme for the first time, ANWIL became the winner, thus unquestionably proving that the implemented management standards in such a large organisational structure are at the highest level,” said Jacek Kozioł, deputy editor-in-chief of Forum Biznesu and member of the Jury of the Top Quality International, during the award ceremony.
ANWIL is one of the pioneers of implementation of the quality management systems in Poland. The Quality Management System, in accordance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO 9001 standard, has been functioning in the Company since 1995. Four years later, the Environmental Management System was implemented according to the requirements of the PN-EN ISO 14001 standard. Since 2012 the Health and Safety Management System has been functioning at the Company, conforming to the requirements of the PN-N-18001 and BS OHSAS 18001 standards. All the systems are subject to regular certification and recertification processes, performed by a renown, international auditing company.
