Wastes management
Minimization of the wastes produced is one of the priorities in ANWIL SA ecological policy. Rationalization of technologies, putting into practice low-waste technologies and materials of prolonged life, make it possible to reduce generated wastes. Most of the wastes generated in production and auxiliary processes undergo recycling and they are used again in production as a raw material.
In 1998, the plant for recovery of hydrogen chloride from waste chlororganic compounds was put into operation. Thanks to this plant, current recovery of gaseous and liquid chlororganic wastes as well as periodical recovery of solid wastes take place in polyvinyl chloride and vinyl chlorideproduction processes.
